Susan Belshaw, CRPS and President and Executive Director
Sue first began working with peer support groups in 2007 in Bennington, VT and then in Ocala, FL in 2015. She received credentials as a Recovery Peer Specialist through the Florida Certification Board in 2017. She further advanced her efforts in December of 2019 when she developed Together To Thrive (T2T) as a 501 C3 non-profit organization. Sue works to help peers discover their own strengths and use   them to develop skills and set goals for improved wellness and resilience.
Rachel Newton, Secretary
Rachel is a busy wife and mother and has a degree in Biology and a Masters in Nutrition Policy. She works for the Vermont Department of Health as a Prevention Specialist. Rachel is passionate about people becoming aware of hazards and lifestyle choices that affect optimal health and helping them actively pursue wellness.
Syd Phelps, Treasurer
Syd has been involved with financial record keeping in churches, and brings that expertise to us. She keeps us diligent with the details of our operation and has the wisdom and ability to keep us encouraged by the big picture of what we do.
Barbara Green
Barbara joined our board in 2022 bringing her experience as an Ordained Chaplain with International Fellowship of Chaplains / Chaplain with Billy Graham Ministries and Samaritan’s Purse, serving on the Rapid Response Team / Served on 17 deployments in US and Bahamas.
Bonnie Cutler
Bonnie worked as a bookkeeper for many years. After her husband passed away, she launched a career as a realtor. For 20 years her business enjoyed success built upon her reputation for honesty and integrity. Since retiring she has become a part of the financial team at her church, recently spearheading the merger of her church with another in the area. Bonnie sees a great need for outreach to those who struggle with mental illnesses and wants to support the initiative to help those in need.

All of the T2T board members and staff are strong in their faith in the Lord and in our mission of helping people to pursue wellness and connection and to thrive. Together To Thrive is blessed by each of them!
